PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical mechanical-type timepiece device. SOLUTION: In the clock device, a numbering shuttle 4 is engaged with a predetermined rack tooth 3a in a comb tooth 3 by the state of engagement between a numbering cam 2 and the comb tooth 3 to perform hour indicating operation by a strike or a number of strikes. The clock device is provided with a halting means for halting the hour indicating operation, a time zone halting means for halting the hour indicating operation only in a predetermined time zone, and, in addition, a switching means for switching in such a way as to set any of a first mode in which the hour indicating operation is normally performed, a second mode in which the hour indicating operation is halted, and a third mode in which the hour indicating operation is halted in a predetermined time zone.
