PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device in which attaching a print board to the case member holding a liquid crystal cell can be carried out in one action. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device 1, a snap engaging part 7 is formed in the back side of a first case 5 as a case member and the print board 6 is engaged by snapping with the snap engaging part 7. The snap engaging part 7 has a base part 7a protruding from the back face of the first case 5 to the outside of the first case 5 and a hook part 7b formed by folding the base part 7a into a U-shape. The hook part 7b is formed in such a manner that its top end touches the surface of the print board 6 to support the print board 6 in the thickness direction. Thus, the print board 6 can be attached in one action to the snap engaging part 7 as well as the movement of the print board in the thickness direction after attached can be definitely regulated.
