PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven/knitted fabric with high proportion of transmitted light quantity relative to incident light quantity and, if colored, giving the transmitted light clear color. SOLUTION: This woven/knitted fabric is characterized by using thin films instead of yarns for constituting the fabric to the effect that incident light exposed thereto is taken therein as much as possible to increase the light transmitted through the material rather than the interstices and the rays of transmitted light are made clear. Thus, as a result of using the films instead of yarns as a fiber assembly, the surface area of the final fabric can be reduced significantly, decreasing surface-reflected light, particularly as a result of using the transparent, thin films, the transmitted light can be increased; wherein, if the films are colored, surface-reflected light contributing to no color is decreased and a large quantity of light can be transmitted through the colored films, therefore the hue of the fabric becomes clear, presenting clear hue like a stained glass.
