PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-sensitivity enzyme immunoassay method replacing a conventional method for assaying bisphenol 'A' (BPA) using enzyme label BPA requiring complicated post-assay treatment. SOLUTION: BPA assaying can be performed by a method wherein an enzyme label body of a phenol derivative expressed by a general expression (where, n is an integer from 1 to 5) and BPA in a specimen are competitively reacted with a solid-phase antibody.
