<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily open holes even in a large number of sheets when forming a sheaf of punched, two-folded sheets by a sheet treating device. SOLUTION: This sheet treating device is provided with sheet conveying means 2, 3, 5 for conveying sheets; a sheet detecting means for detecting the sheets conveyed by the sheet conveying means; a punching device 50 for punching holes in the sheets conveyed by the sheet conveying means, at least sheet by sheet; a folding device 100 for stacking a plurality of sheets punched by the punching device and folding them in two; and an operation control means for controlling the operation of the sheet conveying means and punching device when the sheet detecting means detects the sheets, so that the punching device punches holes in the symmetric positions with respect to the fold position of the sheets folded in two by the folding device.</p> |
