PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein stopping of a foot is impossible while traveling a conventional unicycle, and a complicated shape is provided in an offset type unicycle having a possibility of stopping the foot while traveling the unicycle. SOLUTION: A crankshaft of the unicycle can be internally mounted as a separate part on the inside by making a hub shaft have a sheath structure. Rotation of the crankshaft is transferred from a crank gear to a separate intermediate gear by changing the number of rotation. Rotation of the intermediate gear is transmitted to a gear fixed to the hub shaft by changing the number of rotation. A ratchet mechanism is incorporated into a part of the gears in the two-step variable speed mechanism, and the crank can be stopped at the time of forward rotation of the wheel in a relation of the crank and rotation of the wheel. |
