PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freezer and refrigerator vehicle in which the freezer can be operated without using an electric generator having a high generating capacity and also under a state in which an engine for transportation is stopped when a vehicle is in its parking state. SOLUTION: A freezer/refrigerator vehicle is provided with a freezer having a first refrigerant passage circulated by a first compressor, and a second refrigerant passage circulated by a second compressor set to have a smaller capacity than a capacity of the first compressor. In the case that a transportation engine mounted on the vehicle is in its operated condition, the freezer is operated under a transportation mode where the first compressor of the freezer is driven by the transportation engine. In turn in the case that the transportation engine is in its non-operated condition, the freezer is operated under a parking mode where the second compressor of the freezer is driven by a compressor driving electric motor driven by an electrical power of a battery cell.
