PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording apparatus which improves durability and operability for mounting a magazine. SOLUTION: A photosensitive material magazine 27 makes sliding parts 156A, 156B butt against a setting surface 150 and slide in the first direction (the direction of an arrow X1). The sliding parts 156A, 156B are butted against a butted member 164 and slid in the second direction (the direction of an arrow Y1). The magazine 27 is mounted on a mounting surface 152 of the apparatus. When guiding pedestals 170A, 170B formed on the setting surface 150 are located under the magazine 27, rollers 162A, 162B butt against the guiding pedestals 170A, 170B and the sliding parts 156A, 156B are separated from the setting surface 150. The magazine 27 moves with only rolling friction in the second direction. A workload for mounting is reduced and operability is improved. Only the rollers 162A, 162B are used when the magazine 27 moves in the second direction so that durability is improved.
