PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stop cock cover for preventing surreptitious use of water which enables perfect water burglary prevention and closure of a cock by allowing a cap body itself covering a handle part of the stop cock to turn within the range of the fixed angle, but not to rotate so as to prevent rotation of the handle part, and which allows maintaining an excellent durability in long term use. SOLUTION: A cap body 1 covering the stop cock S is made out of two divided bodies of the upper and lower part bodies 1a and 1b. The upper part body 1a is allowed to turn within the range of about 70-110 degrees lateral to the lower part body 1b. Notch parts 2 and 2 disposed opposed to the lower part body 1b are provided in such a way as to straddle over an upstream side connecting part 3a and a downstream side connecting part 3b of the stop cock S and the cap body 1 is installed with the stop cock S unable to connect and disconnect by passing a stop shaft 5 which is unable to extract by locking through holes 4 and 4 provided opposed to the cap body 1a.
