<p>PURPOSE: An actuator for operating the foot pedals of a motor vehicle is provided to selectively actuate either the brake pedal or the gas pedal of a motor vehicle with a mutual device which makes only minimal demands on space and to obtain cost effectiveness. CONSTITUTION: An actuator for operating the foot pedals of a motor vehicle with the aid of a servomotor is provided. The actuator has two actuating arms(20,30) alternatingly actuated by selecting the direction of rotation of the servomotor. First and second coupling elements are provided respectively, and an eccentric device and a pin projecting radially away from the motor shaft are provided to produce this alternating action on either actuating arm.</p> |
