PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a patterned mono-layer or multi-layer complex of zeolite or zeotype molecular sieve and manufactured complex thereby are provided to improve the durability and the orientation of the complex, and to develop a procedure for selectively causing a chemical reaction on the surface of an object. CONSTITUTION: In the manufacturing method for a complex composed of a substrate connection compound-zeolite or zeotype molecular sieve, the connection compound is coupled to the surface of the substrate, ultraviolet is irradiated to the substrate by using a photo-mask having a pattern so as to denaturalize the connection compound and its function group coupled to the substrate, a zeolite layer or a zeotype molecular sieve is selectively formed on an UV-irradiated portion or other remaining portion, and then processed by using a plastic working at need.
