PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a color filter for liquid crystal device by preventing the occurrence of color mixing and void and further to highly precisely form spacers on a black matrix when constructing the liquid crystal device. SOLUTION: The color part is formed by subjecting the resinous black matrix to ink repellent treatment, then imparting a ink to an opening part of the black matrix by an ink-jet method, and the spacer is formed simultaneously by imparting the ink to specified position on the black matrix.
