<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the anti-error performance of a radio controlled watch in reception. SOLUTION: A clock control part 3 stores normal data except error blocks even when hour data or minute data among time code signals becomes in error at the reception of standard radio waves and moves time data forward by an internal clock 6. When a pair of time data moved forward by the internal clock are matched with the received time data at the next reception of time data and thereafter, the reception is considered to be successful to execute time modification. Even in a condition in which errors in hour data and errors in minute data are alternately frequent, it is possible to acquire time data only by few times of reception to raise the frequency of time modification at a location in adverse radio wave conditions.</p> |
