PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give an appropriate heat for fixing to paper, while shortening waiting time by solving the problem, based on fixed temperature at standby time in an image forming device, in which paper carrying speed can be changed. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, which is equipped with a thermal fixing device and in which the paper carrying speed can be changed, the paper- carrying speed is changed according to the selection of image resolution, in the case of forming an image. The fixing target control temperature of the thermal fixing device can be changed according to the paper-carrying speed, and also the temperature is controlled by setting the temperature at the standby time in the thermal fixing device, after image forming processing according to the selection result of the resolution. |
