PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve volumetric efficiency for compressing fluid. SOLUTION: This fluid machine is provided with a pair of rotatably driven rotors 3 and 5, a rotor chamber 7 for housing the rotors 3 and 5 and a casing 9 communicfating with the rotor chamber 7 and having an inflow port 11 and an outflow port 13 of the fluid. An addendum seal part 43 copying after an inner peripheral shape of the casing 9 is formed in a top part 41 of the respective rotors 3 and 4, and a groove part 47 opening toward the addendum seal part 43 is formed in the direction for crossing the fluid passing direction. Since compressibility of the fluid increases by the groove part 47, the volumetric efficiency is improved.
