PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper stacking device provided with a full state detecting means that does not get in the way when a user handles stacked paper, at a lower cost than the case of using a feeler. SOLUTION: This paper stacking device 10 is provided with a delivery tray 12 for stacking the image-formed paper, and a delivery roller 33 for delivering the paper onto the delivery tray 12. The delivery tray 12 is inclined to be lower upstream than downstream in the conveying direction, and a regulating member 41 for regulating the rear end position of the delivered paper is provided vertically from the upstream end part. A transmission type photo interrupter 43 is provided in relation to the regulating member 41, and in the case the paper enters in the detecting position of the photo interrupter 43 to intercept light, subsequent output is stopped.
