Diesel fuel compositions containing oxygenated compounds derived from tetrahydrofurfuryl having to the general formula: in which -X- is chosen from: -O- and -O-[CH2-O]n- with n comprised between 1 and 20 and -R is chosen from: alkyl groups containing from 1 to 30 carbon atoms; and groups containing a tetrahydrofurfuryl unit.
