PURPOSE: A knee protection device for an automobile is provided to prevent injure of passengers seating on a rear seat by absorbing impact power applied to the passengers' knees through a buffering member mounted on a seat back frame assembly of a front seat when the automobile comes into collision. CONSTITUTION: A knee protection device for an automobile includes a seat back assembly(10), a seat back frame assembly(20), a bracket(23) and a buffering member(30). The seat back assembly has a cover, a pad and a hook(13). The seat back frame assembly is fixed and mounted by the hook. The bracket has coupling holes(22) formed at both sides of a frame(21) of the seat back frame assembly. The buffering member is mounted on the bracket to buffer impact.
