PURPOSE: To obtain glass for electrode coating whose reactivity with an electrode or the like is small, and by which the transparency of an electrode coating glass layer can be increased. CONSTITUTION: This glass for electrode coating has a composition consisting of, by mass, 44 to 68% PbO, 0 to 18% Bi2O3, 19 to 23% B2O3, 1.2 to 5% SiO2, 2 to 6% Al2O3, 4 to 9% ZnO, 0.1 to 0.5% CuO, 1.1 to 2% In2O3, 0 to 1% SnO2 and 0 to 1% CeO2. The glass is suitable to coating for a transparent electrode formed on a glass substrate of a plasma display panel fron substrate. |
