PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a bicycle colored tire which has high wear resistance on traveling, weatherability, and ozone resistance without the peeling of the outer surface of the tire in use as seen in the conventional colored tires and has excellent fashionableness and designing of external appearance having a metallic color, and a rubber mixture which is used in this method. SOLUTION: First, the rubber mixture which comprises 100 pts.wt. entire rubber components, 5-20 pts.wt. platelet mica having an average particle size of up to 200μm, and 0.05-10 pts.wt. color pigment is produced. Then, this rubber mixture is kneaded in a sealed kneader and after kneading, a metallic colored tire tread 1 having a surface layer rubber portion 2 and an inner layer rubber portion 3 which contain a wear-resistant compound is extruded. This tire tread is molded by laminating with bead wires 4 and a carcass 5 and subjected to pressing cure. Thus, a bicycle colored tire having excellent wear resistance, weatherability, ozone resistance, and color gloss in external appearance can be obtained.
