PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling structure, a segment coupling used for a shield tunnel, a segment with the coupling, and a shield tunnel. SOLUTION: The coupling structure comprises a male fitting 5 and a female fitting 9. The male fitting 5 includes an enlarged end portion 6a, a root portion 6b, a projecting member 6 including a shank 6c connecting the end portion 6a to the root portion 6b, an enclosing member 7 for rotatably enclosing the root portion 6b, and an elastic member 8 connected to the root portion 6b at one end and to the enclosing member 7 at the other end and producing repulsion through the rotation of the root portion 6b. The female fitting 9 includes a deep spiral opening 11 and a fitting portion 12 enclosing and fitted into the end portion 6a. As the end portion 6a is inserted into the opening 11 along the axis of the tunnel, the opening 11 causes rotation of the projecting member 6 to produce repulsion at the elastic member 8. When inserted into the tunnel beyond the opening along the axis of the tunnel, the end portion 6a is inverted by the repulsion of the elastic member 8 to produce a tightening force.
