PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus of distance measurement using a light-down method capable of measuring objects placed nearby and also far without changing dynamic range of the imaging camera. SOLUTION: In the apparatus of distance measurement to image a reflected light of a slit light emitted by itself and to measure the distance to measured object with a position relation between a light-emitting position of the slit light and an imaging position, an image capture means to image the reflected light of the slit light on an object surface and a light-emitting control means to change received light intensity at an image capture means with controlling light-emitting time of the slit light emitted within a scanning time of the capture means are equipped.
