PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller for a water heater capable of reserving to set bathing without necessity of a troublesomeness of calculating and setting a bathing reserving time from a present time when a short time such as, for example, after one hour. SOLUTION: The remote controller for the water heater comprises a water heater body 1 capable of automatically filling hot water in a bathtub, and one or a plurality of remote controllers 23, and a bathing reserving time setting function of finishing filling of the hot water in the bathtub 12 when becoming the bathing reserving time and capable of bathing. When a bathing reserving timer set switch 31 is operated to set the bathing reserving timer time and the set time is elapsed, filling of hot water in the bathtub 12 is finished and the bathing reserving timer setting function to be able to bathe is provided. In case of a short time such as after one hour, therefore, there is no need for troublesome calculating and setting the bathing reserving time from the present time, and the bathing reserving setting can be executed.
