PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apartment housing system which has a function of controlling a dump area set in a common space of an apartment house, carries out sanitary management of the dump area, and protects privacies of residents of the apartment house. SOLUTION: The dump area 4 at which the residents of the apartment house dump garbage is provided with a door 40, a display section 42, and an electric lock controller 43. The door 40 is unlocked by a PIN-based unlocking device 41 which is rendered available by an operating section 14 controlled by a control circuit 10 of a caretaker's room main device 1 and then allows a PIN number to be input thereinto. The display section 42 displays an available/unavailable status of the PIN-based unlocking device. The electric lock controller 43 recognizes first PIN numbers P1 which are specific for the residents and registered beforehand, and a second PIN number P2 for garbage collection, and when the PIN-based unlocking device is in the available status, the electric lock controller 43 controls the PIN-based unlocking device so as to be unlocked based on the first PIN numbers P1 specific for the residents until unlocked based on the second PIN number P2 for garbage collection. Further, the caretaker's room main device is provided with a display section 15, and individual room devices 2a, 2b,..., and 2n are provided with display sections 15, 24. Each display section indicates the available/unavailable status of the PIN-based unlocking device.
