PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light storage color coating material which can maintain the particles of a light storage medium in the diffused state in a coating layer without their precipitation in the process of drying the light storage color coating material and does not damage a colored material and a patterned material when a light storage pigment is directly coated even on the colored material and the patterned material without applying an undercoat thereto and can retain a constant luminance with high light storage efficiency during the long light-emitting period of time. SOLUTION: A light storage medium, a dispersing agent, and a suspension stabilizer are mixed with a coating stock solution obtained by mixing a curing agent with a mixture of a color pigment with a synthetic resin, and the particles of the above light storage medium are continued to maintain the diffused state in the layer of the above mixture of a color pigment with a synthetic resin by the action of the above dispersing agent and the above suspension stabilizer in the process for the above mixture of a color pigment with a synthetic resin to dry.
