PURPOSE: To provide a graphics drawing device which is improved in the processing speed of drawing data including rotated object drawing data and unrotated object drawing data. CONSTITUTION: A geometric arithmetic unit 5 finds display coordinate data by converting the coordinates of drawing data and transfers the display coordinate data to a drawing unit 6 when the drawing data are the rotated object drawing data and to a processor 4 when the unrotated object drawing data. The processor 4 controls the transfer of an image of the unrotated object drawing data to a drawing memory 7 according to the display coordinate data. The drawing unit 6 generates an image having been rotated according to the rotated object drawing data and transfers it to the drawing memory 7 according to the display coordinate data. The processor 4 and drawing unit 6 can, therefore, perform processes in parallel and the drawing processing speed can be improved, so that smooth drawing processing can be carried out.
