PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that in a conventional printer, a dot image can not be converted, a paper sheet having a size designated by a document is used to be printed, a printing position is not changed so that the printing is performed on a fixed portion, and when using an extended paper, the four corners thereof have to be cut. SOLUTION: A printer performs printing by interpreting a PDL document and developing it to a dot image. The input PDL document is transferred to an interpreting section. The interpreting section interprets the PDL document to develop it to a dot image in a document size and transfers it to a face attaching control section. The face attaching control section executes conversion for converting the size of the dot image to be in conformity with that of the dot image in a designated paper size and transfers it to an output control section. The output control section transfers the dot image to a printer engine to allows it to be printed on any paper. |
