PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure and analyze the movement of a tennis racket and a tennis ball precisely. SOLUTION: Various values concerning the movement of a tennis racket 1 and a tennis ball 2 are calculated by a computer 7 executing the operation of three dimensional coordinate system based on the images of the tennis racket 1 and the tennis ball 2 around the impact obtained by two high-speed cameras 3 and 4 for measuring the movement. At the same time, the quantity of spin of the tennis ball 2 is calculated by the computer 7 executing the operation based on the image of the tennis ball 2 on the rotating state obtained by a high-speed camera 5 for measuring the quantity of spin.
