PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small blood collecting device without power consumption, by which red corpuscles are separated from whole blood with precision in a short time to obtain a large amount of separation liquid where hemolysis hardly occurs. SOLUTION: The blood collecting device for directly collecting blood from a human body is provided with a blood corpuscle separation pipe 50 for separating a corporeal component such as the blood corpuscles from whole blood between a blood collecting needle 10 and a whole blood collecting tube 30 and also with a vessel 20 for holding separated blood plasma. When not the pressure of whole blood but that of the vessel 20 is made to be negative pressure in the blood corpuscle separation pipe 50, a large amount of blood plasma is collected from blood passing through the needle 10 via the pipe 50. In this invention, a solution such as blood plasma is collected from a blood plasma layer which does not contain red corpuscles in the neighborhood of the inner wall of the pipe 50 and, then, the large amount of solution is separated with precision in a short time by a small device without power consumption. Besides, hemolysis owing to the damage of red corpuscles to generate the mixture of the component does not occur in the solution such as collected blood plasma.
