PURPOSE: A stiffness and manufacturing length deciding method to complete the optimum factor of a launching nose is provided to reduce the section force of an I.L.M(Incremental Launching Method) bridge. CONSTITUTION: The stiffness and manufacturing length deciding method to complete the optimum factor of a launching nose comprises the steps of: setting the stiffness of a launching nose to 5.92 percent on the basis of the stiffness value of an upper structure, forming separate variable data against a length ratio by varying the length of the launching nose to 40-120 percent of the length of an upper structure span, and deciding the range of a length ratio of a suitable launching nose by comparing and examining the change of stress of the upper structure against a temporary construction work; setting the length of the launching nose to 70 percent of the length of the upper structure, forming separate variable data against a stiffness ratio by varying the stiffness of the launching nose to 5.92¯20 percent of the stiffness of the upper structure, and deciding the range of a stiffness ratio of a suitable launching nose by comparing and examining the change of stress of the upper structure; and considering and examining two separate variables.
