PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material with high color development density, less skin fog and excellent storing properties of image parts and printing characteristics. SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording material with a heat-sensitive color developing layer containing an electron-donating colorless dye and an electron-accepting compound on a substrate is provided and the heat-sensitive recording material is characterized by incorporating N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-p- toluene sulfoneamide as the electron-accepting compound in the heat-sensitive color developing layer and additionally, incorporating a polyvinyl alcohol with a degree of saponificaiton of 85-99 mole% and a degree of polymerization of 200-2,000 as an adhesive. |
