PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layer stretched polyamide film excelling in transparency, tensile strength, delaminating resistance, gas barrier property, dimensional stability and retorting property, and suitable for packaging at an economical price. SOLUTION: At least one of layers of a multi-layer stretched polyamide film is a resin layer (X) which is made of a polyamide (A) and a polyester. The polyamide is made of mainly xylene diamine and an aliphatic dicarbonic acid of which carbons are 4-12. The polyester is made of polybutylene terephthalate or mainly the polybythlene terephthalate. A component of the polyamide is 99-75% in weight, and that of the polyester is 1-25% in weight.
