PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the oxidative deterioration of a resin in a heating cylinder. SOLUTION: The resin 16 is supplied intermittently into a hopper 5 by using a pressure difference and stored. The resin is charged from the hopper 5 into the heating cylinder 1, melted, and injected while an inert gas is supplied into the cylinder 1. When the supply of the resin to the hopper 5 is stopped, a constant amount of the inert gas is supplied into the cylinder 1. At least, during a time from the beginning of the supply of the resin to the end of the supply, an increased amount of the inert gas is supplied into the cylinder 1 to prevent the oxidative deterioration of the resin.
