PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for molding thermoplastic resin equipped with an extruder for heating and plasticizing the thermoplastic resin, the circular die provided to the leading end of the extruder to extrude the plastized thermoplastic resin in a cylindrical shape and a mandrel for expanding the cylindrical thermoplastic resin extruded from the circular die, to mold the thermoplastic resin without generating a problem such as breaking or the like at the time of molding to provide a thermoplastic resin product excellent in appearance. SOLUTION: The minimum bending radius R of the contact part with the extruded thermoplastic resin of the mandrel is set to 0.5-50 mm.
