PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tending machine having a clutch operation lever to be operated without imposing a burden on an operator. SOLUTION: This tending machine 10 transmits the rotation of an engine 12 through a clutch mechanism 13 to a driving shaft 14 and the rotation of the driving shaft 14 through a gear to a tilling shaft 16 to till the soil by a tilling tine 17 attached to the tilling shaft 16. In the tending machine 10, a casing 11 is equipped with right and left handles 20 and 22 extended backwards, right and left clutch operation levers 25 and 26 are mounted in the vicinity of grip parts 21 and 23 of the right and left handles 20 and 22 and a cable connection mechanism 30 for operating the clutch mechanism 13 by operating at least one clutch operation lever is laid between the right and left clutch operation levers 25 and 26 and the clutch mechanism 13.
