PURPOSE: An apparatus for dehydrating and drying garbage is provided to reduce volume of the garbage to a large extent by drying the crushed and dehydrated garbage after crushing and dehydrating the garbage, and installing inlet and outlet for treatment of the garbage at different sides so that inputted garbage is discharged without manual work. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for dehydrating and drying garbage comprises a cylindrical body case(1); a power system(7) installed on the bottom of the body case(1); a discharging system installed on the side surface of the body case(1) to discharge garbage; a drain system connected to a catch drain of the body case(1); a cylindrical dehydration container(3); a heating system(5) in which a heater(51) is installed, and which is formed inside the lower half of the body case(1); a crushing/dehydration system(6) in which a rotation plate is rotated by a motor of the power system(7) to crush and dehydrate the garbage; a connection pipe member(2) for assembling an inner lid(31) and the body case(1) into a catch drain of a sink; and a sealing lid(4) which is covered on the upper surface of the connection pipe member(2) so that vacuum is maintained inside the body case(1). |
