PURPOSE: A needle clamping apparatus of an optical fiber grafter is provided, which graft more optical fibers into a texture and makes it easy to insert individual optical fiber into a needle. CONSTITUTION: The clamping apparatus(20) comprises an installation board(21) installed on a frame of an optical fiber grafter, a supporting plate(23) fixed by being placed on an upper surface of the installation board, a holding plate(24) installed by being placed to be able to slide on the upper surface of the supporting plate, a closing plate(25) fixed on an upper surface of the holding plate, and a driving tool(26) moving the holding plate right and left. An installation board(21) where the supporting plate is installed is formed in the installation board, and a number of penetration holes are formed on the supporting plate. A penetration hole(24a) is formed on the holding plate in an arrangement corresponding to the supporting plate.
