PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a print processing time required for a user even when the results of test print has a trouble and to prevent waste of print resources by enhancing operability at the time of executing test print of a plurality of copies. SOLUTION: In a printer 1 performing print operation by receiving data from a host 3, first copy is printer normally when test print is designated and that data is stored. After the results of test print is confirmed, main print is performed using the stored data which is erased upon finishing print operation. If a trouble is present in the first copy of test print, the stored data is altered to be suitable for main print and test print can be carried out again using the altered data based on the designation of a user. Test print and main print can be repeated any number of times. |
