PARTS FOR IMAGE RECORDED, METHOD OF JUDGING THEREFOR AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide parts for an image recorder, a method of judging the parts and a method of making the parts wherein erroneous loading or erroneous use of parts such as an inadequate consumable or a container for a consumable in the image recorder is adequately prevented so that deterioration of an image or a malfunction due to erroneous loading or erroneous use is eliminated, thereby allowing the image recorder to stably work in its predetermined function. SOLUTION: The parts to be loaded in the image recorder has a record section having encryption information obtained by encrypting discrimination information relating to the parts. The image recorder or a computer system connected thereto decrypts the encryption information by a decryption key and then it is judged whether or not the parts are adequate by using the information obtained by the decryption, thereby solving the problem.
