PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recorder capable of preventing occurrence of printing trouble beforehand by preventing bubbles in a filter chamber from growing. SOLUTION: The ink jet recorder comprises a head body 10 for ejecting ink drops, an ink cartridge containing ink to be supplied to the head body 10 and a fluid passage 30 for introducing ink in the ink cartridge to the head body 10. A filter chamber 43 having a filter 31 for filtering the ink to be supplied to the head body 10 is formed on a certain portion in the fluid passage 30. A wall section 40 extending in a direction of flow of the ink is provided to a space in the filter at the upstream side of the filter 31. Even when a bubble stays in the space at the upstream side, the bubble is blocked by the wall section 40 so that the growing of the bubble is prevented and the bubble can be readily removed by a periodic cleaning and the occurrence of printing trouble can be prevented beforehand. |
