PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding capable of providing excellent adhesiveness of a rip part to a surface of a car body or the like irrespective of a straight line or curved line without following excessive rigidity. SOLUTION: A molding 12 is provided with a rip part 18 which is supported by a leg part 21 and can be brought into intimate contact with a surface 104 so as to cover a ridge line 107. The molding has a slide contact part 23 which is extended from the leg part 21 and can be brought into slide and contact with a raised surface 105, a mobile part 24 which is supported by the slide contact part 23, arranged between the rip part 18 and the slide contact part 23, and extended toward the leg part 21, and a projection part 25 which is extended from the rip part 18 toward the slide contact part 23, and connected to the end part of the mobile part 24. While the slide contact part 23 is brought into slide and contact with the raised surface 105 and deformed, the mobile part 24 becomes closed to the leg part 21 and moves in the parted direction from a base end part of the projection part 25.
