PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that an injection part is large and material loss is large in a conventional mold for manufacturing a columnar body and, since an inlet part is large, the cutting or cutting processing labor for removing this part from a molded article becomes large and, since the cut surface thereof appears as the surface of the molded article, shape arranging processing is not simple. SOLUTION: The mold 1 has a columnar cavity 6 and the center axis 6e of the columnar cavity 6 is inclined with respect to a vertical axis. The injection hole 8 piercing the external space from the columnar cavity 6 is formed in the vicinity of the topmost part of the columnar cavity 6. The air escape hole piercing the external space from the columnar cavity 6 is formed near the injection hole 8.
