PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edged tool capable of manufacturing a plank material wherein actual processing is applied to an edge part without requiring further labor while an apparatus and a method for actual processing are provided. SOLUTION: An edged tool R is the tool for processing a substance 31 in an edge part 32 of the plank material 3. Cutting edges 11 and 21 are provided to a peripheral part of a disk-like base body part B being rotated around an axis. The cutting edge 11 is the cutting edge for cutting the plank material 3 in the thickness direction. The cutting edge 21 is the processing edge for processing a surface of the plank material 3 by being provided on both sides of the cutting edge 11 in an axial direction of the base body part B. A distance x1 from an axial center C of the base body part B to the cutting edge 11 is larger than a distance x2 from the axial center C to the cutting edge 21. Further, a difference between those distances x1 and x2 is larger than a thickness d of the substance 31 to be processed in the plank material 3.
