PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an exercising person to take a reasonable and proper exercise. SOLUTION: This exercise pitch gauge is provided with an operation section 16 inputting specific parameters such as the pace, age, and sex of the exercising person, a walk pitch number calculating section 360 calculating a walk pitch number based on the inputted parameters, a pitch sound output section 20 giving a pitch instruction based on the calculated pitch number, and a pulse rate detecting section detecting the pulse rate of the exercising person. The walk pitch number calculating section 360 calculates the walk pitch number based on the specific parameters of the exercising person inputted at an exercise start and also calculates the walk pitch number changed and corrected based on the pulse rate of the exercising person detected after the exercise start.
