The pump has a motor housing accommodating a stator winding and a pump housing developing an air-wheel chamber that adjoins the motor housing. The components needed for the electronic control are accommodated in an electronics housing. The electronics housing (5) is plugged onto the end wall of the motor housing facing away from the pump housing in an axial direction and in detachable fashion. Between the motor housing (4) and the electronics housing, plug contacts are arranged that can be plugged in the axial direction and via which the stator winding is contacted.
