PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water metering feeder for watering 10 that can simply control the storage volume of water in the water feed vessel 16. SOLUTION: When water is stored in the water feed vessel 16 up to a prescribed water level, the ball valve 21 linked through a string 24 to the float 22 closes the valve seat 20c and the water fed from the water-feeding pipe 12 is allowed to come back as redundant water from the drain pipe to the water storage tank 11 and does not become to flow through the conduit 20a to the water feed vessel 16. The water level of the valve body 21 apart from the valve seat 20c is controlled only by altering the length of the string 24 linking the float 22 to the ball valve 21 whereby the storage volume (capacity) of the water-feed vessel 16 can be set.
