PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a yoke, by which the yoke having sufficient air tightness is easily and inexpensively manufactured. SOLUTION: Even when a fine gap part is generated in a pipe making process, a coating material enters into the fine gap part by coating the outer peripheral surface of a hollow cylindrical body by electrostatic coating. But, the yoke manufactured by this method attains the sufficient air tightness. The joined part of one end to another end made air tight with the coating material is flat and a post treatment is unnecessary. Because the yoke is generally used after being coated, the air tightness in the yoke is secured without carrying out an additional process.
