The bottle (1) is placed on a platform and is retained by a pair of hinged retaining arms (4,5) that are spring loaded. An actuator (13) has a crank mechanism (11,12) with arms (10) that sit against the bottle. When operated the actuator pushes the bottle through the retaining arms which are forced apart.
