<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a painted golf ball preventing scars of shots or peeling of paint from being remarkable even after the golf ball is left outdoors for a long time. SOLUTION: The painted golf ball comprises the main body of the ball and at least one colorless and transparent paint layer covering the surface of the main body. The surface of the main body includes a white pigment but doesn't include an fluorescent whitening agent or a UV absorber substantially. The paint layer includes a fluorescent whitening agent and a UV absorber. When the color tone of the main body of the ball is indicated in the Lab method, the value of L is from 88 to 93, the value of a is from -2 to 2, and the value of b is from -2 to -5. When the color tone of the ball covered with the paint layer is indicated in the Lab method, the value of L is from 88 to 93, the value of a is from -2 to 2, and the value of b is from -12 to -5. The difference between the color tone of the main body of the ball and the color tone of the ball covered with the paint layer is 2 or less in the value of L, 3 or less in the value of a, and 3 or less in the value of b.</p> |
