PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regulating wheel truing device for a centerless grinder capable of quickly, accurately and easily truing the shape of the outer periphery face of a regulating wheel. SOLUTION: The regulating wheel truing device comprises a truing tool for machining the outer periphery face of the regulating wheel, feeding means 16, 19 for moving the truing tool in a horizontal plane including the rotational axis of the grinding wheel in the direction along the rotational axis and in the direction of approaching to and separating from the rotational axis, shift amount calculating means 38 for calculating a distance between the truing tool and a one-sheet rotational hyperboloid in pitches in the moving direction of the truing tool when moved only in the direction along the rotational axis while maintaining a constant distance to the rotational axis of the grinding wheel and for calculating a shift amount for the contact of the truing tool with the one-sheet rotational hyperboloid in pitches in accordance with obtained data, and control means 41 for driving and controlling the feeding in accordance with the calculated shift amount to move the truing tool in the direction along the rotational axis of the grinding wheel and in the direction of approaching to and separating from the rotational axis and to move the truing tool along the one-sheet rotational hyperboloid in the direction of the rotational axis of the grinding wheel.
